The beads measure less in thickness (when strung) than they do in diameter... I honestly think this is impossible to figure out without counting...and there's no way I'm doing that! ;)The Lone Beaderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17670946654211536130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-12765461417244074022008-04-18T01:35:00.000-04:002008-04-18T01:35:00.000-04:002008-04-18T01:35:00.000-04:00I miscalculated the empty space earlier, my new an...I miscalculated the empty space earlier, my new answer is 6405, but again thats assuming you have 7.5 rows in the empty space, which is unlikely, you either have 7 or 8 rows, so it's either 6,545 beads if it's 8 rows or 6,265 if its 7.
(16 x 20 x 9)+(45x20)+(21x25)+(14 x 20 x 7.5)=
2880 + 900 + 525 + 2100 = 6405 plus or minus 140. I was in bed when the mistake came to me. This answer might require 2 guiness, (ps the trolley's looking awesome) :)miconhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08583059637946005038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-14734393042046505742008-04-17T23:22:00.000-04:002008-04-17T23:22:00.000-04:002008-04-17T23:22:00.000-04:00Couldn't even think of a solution -- I just finish...Couldn't even think of a solution -- I just finished reading David Baldacci's SIMPLE GENIUS -- all about numbers, genius mathematicians, etc. However, in MHO, another great book by Baldacci.

I love the way this is coming along -- your backgrounds as you show the progress make it so very real.Beadin' Gram/aka Jackiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02023666590463771461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-56981717598481641572008-04-17T20:55:00.000-04:002008-04-17T20:55:00.000-04:002008-04-17T20:55:00.000-04:00LOL. If 5 beads go into 0.25" evenly then that would mean 7 and 1/2 would go into 3/8" (or 0.375) I don't think you cut the beads in half, but I'll go with 4410 white beads. If I'm correct i think a keg is a little too much but I'll gladly take a guinness on you one of of these nights. :) See ya soon.miconhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08583059637946005038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-57414078239295500072008-04-17T20:11:00.000-04:002008-04-17T20:11:00.000-04:002008-04-17T20:11:00.000-04:00hahahaha, I think you've forgotten that we are all...hahahaha, I think you've forgotten that we are all artists and it's not about the math, it's about the creation!!!!

(besides, the mere idea of calculating that hurts my head, never mind actually doing it!)
Cheers, DeniseDenisehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07235753500084196007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-65056648548920901802008-04-17T20:02:00.000-04:002008-04-17T20:02:00.000-04:002008-04-17T20:02:00.000-04:00Well, my answer is simple, you'll use enough to co...Well, my answer is simple, you'll use enough to cover it the way you want to. What about second rows on top? That would change the number and the count. I'm just not going to do this today. I thought I was going insane..hahaha!If I make the slightest attempt to do the math I just know I'll be counting beads again in my sleep for the next 6 weeks ;-)Kivett Studiohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14511334491243146334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-39242017395666028822008-04-17T14:00:00.000-04:002008-04-17T14:00:00.000-04:002008-04-17T14:00:00.000-04:00Patience, you will finish it on time.Patience, you will finish it on time.givethemhellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05959396836962513541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26348133.post-20401872191800908472008-04-17T10:59:00.000-04:002008-04-17T10:59:00.000-04:002008-04-17T10:59:00.000-04:00Yes I believe it - you are incredibly ambitious! ...Yes I believe it - you are incredibly ambitious!
