And, Joanne, thanks for your insight regarding textile art! I definitely consider my more sculptural pieces (cars, and submarine) a type of textile art.... There is a lot of felt holding it altogether. And, 12 hours is a long way away! It seems that everything is a 12hrs away in Cali... Beads are strung on thread, and it's the thread (and in bead embroidery, fabric) that give the body to the piece. Without it, they would just be a pile of beads.
