I also lost a good friend when I was young, he was 17, I was 16 and I ended up naming my second son after him.<BR/><BR/>I think the good that comes out of losing someone close at a young age is that you learn how precious life is and that you should never waste a moment! I lost my twin sister at the age of 15. Those events stay with us through a life time. I hope working on the fire truck has helped to put things in prespective. I lost a girlfriend when we were about 12 years old; she died in her sleep overnight and the cause of death was never established.
