Upside Down Artbeads Giveaway

Thanks to all who entered my beading book giveaway of the week! Congrats to GraceBeading from Ft. Wayne, Indiana! Today, I listed a new item in my Etsy shop - a fun pair of beaded Upside Down Christmas Tree earrings! These consist of bead embroidery on felt using primarily triangle-shaped seed beads. The reason I made these was because Artbeads.com recently sent me some beautiful Cubic Zirconia beads, including the Lavender Stars in the photo above. As soon as I saw them, I wanted to use them on a Christmas tree, but when I got them, I realized that the drill-hole was going through one point of the star rather than through the entire star. So, I had to had to turn my design upside-down! Either way, the Cubic Zirconia Star adds a beautiful sparkling finish to a rather simple design idea!
