Now that I've finally finished my beaded motorcycle, it's time to show you the commission I completed last week. (Thanks to Woof Report!)
Above is a photo of Kian, an Australian Labradoodle from Hawaii. (Isn't he the cutest dog you have ever seen?:) I was unfamiliar with this dog breed, so I did a little research. I learned that Labradoodles are a crossbred mix of a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle! Here is the custom beaded dog pin I created for Kian's owner:
Beaded Australian Labradoodle pin/pendant.
Bead embroidery on felt. 1.5" x 1.5" (3.5cm x 3.5cm)
Bead embroidery on felt. 1.5" x 1.5" (3.5cm x 3.5cm)
Kian's hair is a beautiful apricot colour, but I didn't want him to look too orange, so I used a mixture of light topaz and silver-lined apricot seed beads, as well as browns, black, and pink. I created this unique 'curly' texture by mixing size 15 & size 11 seed beads. Kian's ears are also tiny fringes that actually move!
This pin is also a pendant which can be worn on a necklace. I am really proud of how it turned out. (I hope Kian's owner likes it, too!) Hmmm... I wonder what kind of dog I'll bead next! :D

Sew a beaded BARK neath his curls!
Nice! I have question: When is The Loan Beader going to bead a silver bullet and does she leave one behind after saving the day to let people know that it was her.
Oh my - he's adorable, as is your beaded version!
Congrats on finishing motorcycle too.

I am Kian's owner. The pin is gorgeous and so well made. The color is perfect and looks just like Kian. I could not be happier with my little beaded doggie pin. I've been wearing it every day to work and everyone notices it! Thank you!
Corky! You are funny! Coincidentally, one of my co-workers has been jokingly asking me to make a beaded silver bullet for the past year or so! LOL
And, thanks for the comment, Sue!! I am so happy you like your pin!! Thank you for your business! :D
