The other day, Jewels posted a photo of her bent beading needle, so I figured I should show you mine. It's a John James extra long size 12 beading needle. It measures 3" long, to be exact. My needle is not bent nearly as much as Jewels' is - but it does have a rather nice curve to it.

The reason my needle is so curved is because I have to push it through at least 10 layers of felt, then I have to pull it out the other side! I guess now I know I don't need to buy a curved embroidery needle - I can simply make my own! :o

The headlights look so interesting and I like this effect and your beadwork much better than Natasha Michael's work ...
Out of curiosity, do you use a thimble to protect your fingers? Your hands must get fatigued. I know mine do with clay, but it's not nearly as detailed as your beading.
Oh my, this is really coming together --- love the effect and my goodness, all the beads and thread.

I love the effects of the lights! Super! Isn't it odd how we get attached to a needle while doing a project. I always think if I can just do it all with this one needle...yeah, and then what!
Thank you for entering my competition, your answers were almost perfect and you helped us make £34 for The Cats Protection League.

I totally abandoned making this one bracelet project because I kept on breaking needles making it. lol.
