If you've ever been to Boston, Massachusetts, you've probably visited the Theatre District, the Financial District, the Leather District, and maybe even the Garment District. Well, now, we have the Gasoline District. To get there, just take the Green Line to Kenmore Square.

you amaze and baffle me at the same time!
Totally awesome! Everytime you finish a project, I wonder what is next. Within days, you come up with something even better.

It looks great. The signs help make the city and the depth but the bus is still what I'm looking at. And I still love the circuitboards on the bus.

Had a few minutes at the computer to check out your blog --- looks absolutely fantastic.
COOL CITY!!!
And y'all even stopt at McGreasies, too! I'll just pop in and get a McChicken sandwich (I love to take'em home and put ranch dressing on em) but....
as I come out of the fast fooder, I see the bus rolling away....WAIT!
(folks, there ain't much funnier than an ols lunk like me chasing after a bus, complete with a bag of chow in one hand and a pop in the other!)
Great job on the whole set, and, if tis was a rate 1-5, I'de give you TEN STARS!
Oh yeah -- the trolley came out so great, but the signs really make the whole thing pop. Congrats on finishing. Have a beer on me! ;-)
Thanks everyone for the comments! Boney, you made me laugh with your McGreasies comment! LOL. And, Judy, I will! :D
I love all of these.
Makes me nostalgic for a road trip!
wahoo! another great piece finished! congratulations!
You have some really great work here Lone Beader!! I love it! Are you familiar with Liza Lou's work? Years ago I saw her kitchen installation--it's amazing!! Check it out here: http://mocoloco.com/art/archives/001422.php
Peace & Love.
I love that green bus!
Gasoline has now reached about $20 a gallon here! My bike and feet have never been used as much as they are now! Car stays put!
I like how you did the background wall and the curve of the road. It is pulling together fabulously.
Extreme beading indeed. As always, I'm in awe, inspired, motivated and not a little jealous.
Oh, it is completed? It's great!!! What's next???
Wow it looks fab LB! so much work and detail you must be delighted to see it complete.
Lookin' good
Oh fun fun fun! Congratulations on finishing another one - you rock!
beautifulllllllllllllllllllll ;)
kiss to you.
Wonderful. It's great to see the final version. I am intrigued as to what's next for the Lone Beader!
Awww... thanks everyone! I am very happy to see this one completed and hanging on the wall! It certainly was a test of patience....
I believe that a Gasoline District is most appropriate, especially since the value of crude oil is now comparable with the value of gold and fine gems.
Nick! I love how you interpreted that. Brilliant!
Thank you. The interpretation comes directly from my warped and cynical mind.

All your work is AMAZING! and this is not exeption!!! :-)
As I have been following your progress on this project, it has become even more relevant due to the increase in gas prices. I love your work.
