Freeze Train

It amazes me how fast time goes by! Two years ago on this day, I wrote my first blog post - 590 posts ago! Today is my 2nd blogaversary! So to celebrate, here's a quick glimpse into the history of The Lone Beader. Each of the images below are documented works of beaded art in progress. I chose pics from blog posts over the last year that I thought were the most important, as well as the most fun. I feel that these are some of the posts that have really helped me develop my own artistic style. Click the pic to flash back to the original web page, and to see my finished bead-paintings, please visit thelonebeader.com. Thank you for your interest in my beadwork:)

Is your first blog post really 2 years ago now??? I can't believe it, either, but I am proud that I have been following your blog and each of the 590 posts from the beginning. :)

The new piece is looking fantastic. I'm loving the details in the overlaps of green beads.

Awww.... thanks for the comments, everyone! Actually this is just over a year's worth of work, but they are the pieces that really helped me develop my own style in both beading and blogging. It has certainly been an artistic year for me... :D

Wow! And you even gave us a tour thhough the ages with you!
Watching the cars get older as we went along was cool!
Then the horse drawn carraiges! I didn't realize you were that oo
And then the guy inventing a wheel!
Now THAT was something there!
How did you get him to stop carving for you while you beaded his picture?
(and what in the dickens did you use for beads, THEN?!?)

No,....just joshin' ya. Heck, you probably aren't a nickle past twent-seven, are ya?
Happy Blogavesary, LoneBeader!
Many more to ya!
