Blue Meanies Attack!

The infamous beaded Yellow Submarine hijack of 1968 is the most logical explanation for all of this anti-music...

Fantastic! Love it - and the contrast of textures and colors.

It really is wonderful. I like the Beatles standing on the edge, and that they are in black and white. I saw the movie when I was very little a long time ago (one of the few times it was on tv), but I remember so little about it. Hmmm....must check Blockbuster's inventory and see if I can order it. Congratulations on another finished work of art.

Thanks for the comments! The Beatles are colourless because the Blue Meanies attacked them, then took off in the sub. LOL.

Looks great, LB. I'm glad the attacking meanies aren't big enough to swallow the sub.

It's beautiful, well done. It's been wonderful watching your progress.

The painting is just right now. I see why you wanted the whales as they are and they look great, or were they sharks, I forgot. Neat work no matter what.

The Lone Beader said...

Haha. They are the same whales that were in the original film. Only with sharp teeth. Despite the smiles on their faces, they aren't happy about the Blue Meanies hijacking the sub.

It's amazing. I stared for I don't know how long at all the textures in the thingy on top of the submarine. Always a joy to visit your page.

It's done already? Yeah, it may have taken 10 weeks but for those of us watching it grow it went by pretty quickly - or is it because time seems to fly faster as I get older? Hmmm

I love it. It came out really, really well. Congratulations on a great job done!
