Due to an overwhelming response, I have decided to try to create an extremely dimensional beaded replica of The Beatles' Yellow Submarine. I will say that I'm a little nervous about this, but I'm up for the challenge. This is an image that I've always loved, and I'm sure it brings back fond childhood memories for many people. So, I thought I'd try something a little different for this project by perhaps getting some longtime Beatles fans involved. If you or someone you know has any Beatlemania memories, stories, news clippings, or photos to share while I'm working on this piece, send me an email! I'd love to hear from you=:)
And, speaking of childhood, I think this is a perfect project to get the kids involved in, as well. So, I created a Yellow Submarine colouring page for them. Just click the image above, and print it out. After the kids colour their submarine, send me a scan or a photo along with their first name, age, city & country, and I'll post it! Of course, just because it's called a Yellow Submarine, doesn't mean it has to be yellow. It can be any colour of the rainbow... :)
Now, where are those yellow beads... ;)

Enjoy!!
This particular song has very very sad memories for me :( But I am excited to see your new project progress.
this will be a fun one! I don't think I've seen you work in yellows yet.
Thanks! I haven't worked with yellows, at least not on this scale... That is why I'm a little nervous... :0

Great idea. Can't wait to see how it progresses and all the kids' artwork as well.
don't be nervous! Yellows are a fun happy color. You'll have fun with it, and it'll turn out great.
Oh, boy, this will be such a treat to follow your progress.
I'm realy looking forward to seeing how it turns out LB

Look at you spelling color "Colour"! You, Brits snob. Actually, I've been writing program "programme" as well since I work for Virgin.
LOL! Jimmy! I don't know why I do that. It just comes out naturally for some reason! LOL.
