Here's a drawing I did this afternoon. It's a picture of two hugging skeletons. This idea was taken from a photo of Banksy's stenciled scuba diving skeletons. My skeletons will be bead- embroidered inside one of the windows of my beaded brick building. They'll match the skull driver that sits inside the graffitied Triumph of Death on Brick Lane in East London.
I chose the hugging skeletons because humans need each other until the day they die. We need each other for love. We need each other for friendship and for companionship. We need each other for inspiration. We need each other in times of sorrow. We need each other for help to get through the day. And, we also need each other in times of crisis. We need each other, and we often forget this until it's too late. Life is short. If you love the person next to you, give them a hug, because tomorrow may never come...

This post is beautiful, and I can't wait to see the hugging skeletons in beads!
I love how you point out that humans need each other. I often read about how much people hate each other (I'm guilty of hating people at times), but your post reminds me that I'm not on this earth by myself. I NEED others (to tell me how wonderful I am)! ;-)
Great post, Lone Beader!
So true and wonderful post. Great drawing, can't wait to see it in beads.
Don't forget the good moments too D.
We need each other then too. :)
Yes, we do need each other until the day we die. I love your sketch of the skeletons.
What a timely post. I spent my weekend sniffling over the realization that there is noone on this continent that I love (or who loves me... ouch). Not that there are very many on the other side of the ocean, either.
I need to go find somebody to love.
You are quite right LB. If we don't it could be too late.
that really is so true..
love the drawings of your skeletons.
Another great idea! I can't wait to see it.
Life is indeed short.
Thanks for the comments... And, Princess PJ's, you are not alone. I was doing the exact same thing all weekend, as well...
