I think this must be the coolest bead embroidery in the world! It's been a lot of fun to watch, thanks for sharing the process with us! Cant wait to see what you get up to next.
I have found words: I would love to have this bus on a SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRT! I would buy it immediately from Cafepress!!! With the quote "This is the end Beautiful friend This is the end My only friend, the end..."!!!
haha, beadexplorer, you make me smile. Congrats LB on this huge accomplishment. The bus looks amazing, and from my experience with the fire truck I'm sure it a million times cooler in person. Thank you for sharing this piece with us.
I have so enjoyed the trip with you and the whole creation process, it has amazed and inspired me, brought nostalgic memories but most of all I am in awe at your energy and effort in the detail, everything is perfect. Now of course you have a huge fan base expecting the next one - you can't let us down! THANK YOU!!
This song sure takes me back--I was a teenager! in my apartment--with the black light posters...listening to The Doors> I love your bus! thnaks for sharing your process! what next?
Mywa, thanks for your comment! You are correct, so some say. Jim was found dead in a bathtub. There has always been suspicion as to whether he actually died there or not. And, many people thought that he hadn't actually died. No one (except for his girlfriend) ever saw him in the casket....
My blue bus represents the beautiful journey of sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll that Jim Morrison took to get to his ultimate destination.
This is a phenomenal piece of art. I went to your web site to see the rest of your work and am blown away by the quality of your creations. Your web site has been added to "my favorites" page so that I will have an immediate link to see your future work.
